It can be a little nerve racking sometimes when you visit a new church. Where do I go and what do I wear are common questions. At Arundel Baptist Church we will greet you when you arrive and help you find everything that will help make your visit as stress free as possible.
We believe that God has a message to share with everyone who comes through our doors and we want you to be able to hear from God as His Word is proclaimed.
NO PERFECT PEOPLE ALLOWED. It’s a place to be yourself, grow spiritually, build friendships, and make a difference in our city and beyond. Everyone is welcome here, whatever your story, your questions, doubts or struggles. We don’t pretend to have all the answers, but we believe in a God who does.
Please let one of our ushers know how we might serve you and your family. Here are answers to some common questions:
What ministries are available for my children?
During Sunday School we have classes for all ages. We have a nursery staffed by highly qualified members of our church that have been screened and trained. We have two separate children’s worship services available during our 11 a.m. sanctuary worship service; one is for ages 3 through Kindergarten and begins at 11 and the other is for grades 1-4 and is dismissed from the sanctuary after the song service.
How do people dress?
We believe as the Bible teaches, “man looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7). With this in mind, casual dress is the norm as we want everyone to come in clothing that is comfortable for them to worship in. Some people wear jeans and a shirt while others prefer to wear a suit or a dress. We want you to come as you are and worship God.
Where do I go when I come?
Please park in our church parking lot and enter through the front doors of our church. This is where our ushers will be best able to greet you and help you find the sanctuary and various areas for children’s ministries, etc. If the church parking lot is full, you are able to park in the parking lot to the right of the church which has generously been made available to us by the neighboring office building.
What type of music can I expect?
We have a blend of contemporary and traditional songs each Sunday led by our full worship team.
Whether you were invited by a friend or found us searching for churches, we are glad you’re here.
